About This Project

While the Woodside Church is structurally sound, a faulty detail in the connection between the roof structure and the facade has caused the facade stones to delaminate over its lifespan of years.  With fundraising not yet complete, and the facade stone delamination accelerating, the decision was made to disassembly the facade in a controlled manner rather than risk a failure.  I managed the process to individually number and palletize the stones.  Reassembly of the facade has begun in August 2012.

Similar to the South Gable, the decision was made to disassembe the facade in a controlled manner, rather than risk a failure.  I again managed the process to individually number and palletize the stones, now dealing with the State Historic Preservation Dept, as the project had just received State funding.  Reassembly of the facade has begun in August 2012.
