About This Project

I served as project manager for the Post Contemporary (then Contemporary Artists Center), a 24 year old arts non-profit formed in the Berkshires, MA.  The project started with acquisition management to place the organization in a new space.  After a prolonged search, the organization purchased the Woodside Church in Troy, NY: a mid 19th century Church complex comprised of a Neo-Gothic church and chapel designed by Henry Dudley and Robert Robertson respectively.  The Chapel building underwent rehabilitation, wherein we constructed sleeping lofts, studios, and remodelled kitchens and bathrooms, and opened its programming in 2009.

I continued to serve as project manager through the interior and exterior rehabilitation of the former Church building.  Completed in 2015, rehabilitation included extensive facade stone and roofing rebuilding, new highly-sound proofed bathrooms, and an advanced DMX controlled gallery lighting system.

Here is a photo journal which I kept of the construction process.
